Starclassic Walnut/Birch is a model that uses a hybrid shell that features the clear attack of birch, the rounded warm midrange of walnut, and a luxurious core sound.

This limited model uses 2 ply of birch and bubinga, whereas the regular model uses 4 ply of birch. Furthermore, the decorative board is made of Cordia wood and has a matte shell finish, creating a luxurious and calming atmosphere. Also, the 4.5" deep piccolo size, which is not found in the regular model, is a big feature. By combining it with die-cast hoops, which have a distinctive solid attack, the sound ranges from crisp at high pitches and a clear sound image to mid-range. It has a high level of versatility and can produce a powerful sound with a strong presence focused on the mid-low range.
